Daniel Kim: Roof Specialist

I’m Daniel, and I am a Project Specialist at Reliance Roof Pros and Cooper Mountain Roofing. I was born and raised in the Portland area. I graduated from Aloha High School, and studied at the University of Oregon, so I’ve spent my whole life here. I was raised by immigrant parents who taught me the value of hard work.

Before becoming a Project Specialist, I spent most of my life in the service industry and in sales. I have really enjoyed learning about the technical side of roofing. It is a fascinating industry. Although I am new, I have an amazing teacher in Matt. I’m thankful that he shares his 20+ years of experience with me. I’m working towards becoming an expert myself so I can better serve our community. As a Project Specialist, my main objective is to provide a good experience. We always want to do right by people. Whether they sign with us or not, we are always in your corner.

When I’m not at work, I am usually with my two beautiful young kids. I have a 6 year old daughter and a 2 year old son, and they are the greatest gift from God. They are my world and my motivation. I am always striving to become a better person so they can have the best father possible. They are my biggest blessing and I am so lucky to be their dad. When I have time, I really enjoy fishing. Many of my favorite childhood memories are fishing with my dad and grandpa, and I can’t wait to create new ones with my own kids. I can only hope they cherish them like I did!

I never thought I’d be working for a roofing company, but I am so thankful that I found Matt. Roofing, as an industry, doesn’t have the greatest image or reputation. But as a company, we want to change that. And I believe we will. My favorite thing about Reliance Roof Pros & Cooper Mountain Roofing is that we are a service company, and not a sales company. I’m lucky to have found a company that operates with integrity and transparency. I hope you give us the opportunity to serve you. Thank you for your time and interest.
