Richard Trevizo -Production Manager

Hello, my name is Richard, I have lived in Oregon most of my life (since 1994). I’ve primarily lived in East County for most of it, except for living downtown when I attended Portland State University.

I have been in the home service industry for 10+ years. My background was in HVAC which has had some crossover with roofing. My father was in roofing for over 40 years, 30 of those years working for a local company before retiring. I’ve led teams that help to provide great service for people when in need. I’ve been a Sales manager, Customer Service manager and sales coordinator and understand how important it is to listen to and understand the customers’ needs.

My current role at Cooper Mountain Roofing/Reliance Roof Pros is Production Manager. My role consists of ensuring our crews, their safety and making sure we understand what the customers’ needs are for the project. I oversee the project by looking over the project details to ensure everything is ready before we begin production.

On my time off I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going out and exploring new places that I have not yet visited. The Oregon coast provides some of my favorite memories. Exploring the Columbia River Gorge or heading to central Oregon for the weekend are some of my favorite pastimes when we are not working on home projects.

I am a firm believer in doing the right thing. I am an individual who is open-minded and empathetic. My honesty and kindness help to preserve my integrity. My patience and compassion have always been of strong value.

I joined Cooper Mountain/Reliance after speaking with Matt (owner) and learning his passion for the industry and his passion for doing the right thing even if it’s inconvenient or difficult. Learning that his wife has been his partner in the company and she has the same passion as Matt gave me the reassurance that I was joining a great team.

I look forward to my next big life decision by getting married in the fall of 2026. We plan on starting a family and beginning the next chapter of our lives.

My family motivates me. Making sure that we are successful and healthy is the biggest motivation to have a long happy life.
